Tim’s Tidings – November 2020

EPC Tim's Tidings

This Fall Eastminster is focusing on the stewardship theme “Make It Count … Count on Me.” It is exciting to hear the testimonies and to see the videos of the many people, ministry and missions that are making it count through giving their time, talent and treasure to God through Eastminster.

This weekend we will dedicate our Time and Talents to God in worship. If you have not had access to a Time and Talent Sheet, you may click here. Stewardship Team members Alan and Laura Doshier will lead us in that dedication. Thanks for using your time and talents to Make It Count!

On November 14-15 Eastminster will consecrate Estimate of Giving Cards to God in worship. Estimate of Giving Cards are non-binding estimates of what will be given in 2021. This allows Eastminster’s leaders to plan prudently. Perhaps this year is more important than other years. So many people are in need, and our response is crucially needed in our community. You will receive a brochure and an Estimate of Giving Card in the mail next week. Thanks for your faith and generosity which truly Make it Count!

COVID Update– Our Session voted to allow 75 persons to attend onsite worship Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. by reservation. This is below 25% of our Sanctuary capacity. Worship attenders wear masks and are socially distanced. Contact the church office or website to reserve a spot for Saturday night or Sunday worship.

A survey concerning worshipping outdoors will be given next week. At present we have two Prayer and Praise services set for Thursday Nov. 5 and 19 at 5 p.m. A Sunday morning time is being considered.

A Technology Team has been formed to upgrade our online capacity for worship and will be improving our web and social media presence as well. Please pray for this important endeavor as Eastminster proclaims God’s word.

May God bless and keep you in every way. I am grateful to God for you!
