We have just celebrated the first day of Fall 2021. While temperatures are cooling in most areas, and leaves are beginning to turn the beautiful colors we associate with the season, we are looking forward to the many ways we will worship at EPC in the Fall of 2021.

We begin with World Communion Sunday on October 3, which celebrates our oneness in Christ with all our brothers and sisters around the world. It is also a time of sharing what we have with those in need. We are reminded in Luke 12:48, “To whom much is given, much will be required.” If you ask, God will help you discern what you can give to others in our area, and around the world. The 10:30 a.m. worship on Sunday, October 31, will celebrate Reformation Sunday with a procession of Scottish clan flags and bagpipes. Mark your calendar for an inspiring time of worship.

The Chancel Choir has begun working on a Lessons and Carols service to be presented at the 10:30 a.m. worship on Sunday, December 19. If you’ve been thinking about participating in the music ministry, please join us each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room. We look forward to singing and ministering our way through this season.

Many blessings to all of you. – Theresa Fleenor, Music Director
