The hurricane is past but lots of lingering effects—good and bad. I’m grateful for the kindness and helpful attitude shown by Eastminster members, first responders, city government, and neighbors. Hopefully you are safe and things are coming together!
We will have worship Saturday evening at 6 p.m. in the Choir Room upstairs from the regular spot and Sunday morning at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary. As this is Bring a Friend to Church Weekend, this is a great weekend to bring friends! There will be a lot of love, joy and gratitude in the air. There will also be a Jazz Brunch following the Sunday 10 a.m. service.
Here is the other scoop from Eastminster:
- Power is on in all our buildings. There is minimal damage. Thanks to all who are working hard on the facilities!
- Many asked about helping clean up at church. A work day will be scheduled at a later date. Thanks for caring.
- Youth are collecting items for hygiene bags for Hurricane Relief. See below for details of items we are collecting this weekend.
- If you have spare canned food items that you are looking to relocate after the storm The Sharing Center on Hibiscus has urgent need as their pantry is bare. 17 E Hibiscus Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901Hours: 9:30AM–5:30PM
